[So. It's been a couple months, perhaps, since things became very strange for a certain elf and...probably pretty routine for everyone else in Aravalle. Sure, a small menagerie of woodland animals has managed to sneak into the castle grounds and disturb the poor gardeners and groundskeeper, and Shirin herself is actually remarkably difficult to find for anyone who can't track her by blood, but she's a quiet semi-permanent houseguest, and does her best not to disturb the staff while they wait for the masquerade to pass. She declined--vehemently to be seen in the capital; her being anywhere near politics was very unlikely to go over well with the elves and it probably wasn't worth international incident for Konstantin to bring a snack to the whole thing.
But now that things are due for a return from whatever ridiculous debacle the party was, certain elves are...oddly restless. Prone to pacing the length and breadth of the castle like some sort of caged beast. Unsettling the hell out of pretty much every member of the household and Aravalle's own court. Possibly pinning one noble to a wall with an arrow after he got too pointedly loud about complaining where she could hear. Things like that.]

And also consider how comfortable lace can be on bare legs and that as my personal servant you would answer only to me.

[She pauses for a while, clearly mulling this all over.]
Fine, but...not here. In private.

You are aware of where my chambers are, then, Shirin?
[He can slip across the room like a fucking shadow after saying that.]

She does look for somewhere to sit down when she gets there, and looks just...tired. More openly vulnerable.]
Please don't misunderstand. Very little of this really has anything to do with you, in the end.

You ask me to state my preference, Konstantin, but it hardly matters. Here or at the wall is no different--the people here just fear me for far simpler reasons. And it isn't as though I can return there if I wanted to. They...would very much like it, if you were to kill me, the consequences fully draining me would have be damned.

All I've ever wanted was...was a home I could go back to. Nearly 200 years and I've never had that, to my memory. I'm not sure it's possible, as the world stands now.
[It may be becoming apparent that she doesn't know that the servants are fond of her, despite how terrified of her power's effect on the land they may be. Sadelf.jpg.]

[He chuckles.]
If you wish a home, Shirin, I will offer you one, here...
no subject
...As a permanent snack? You can't subsist only on my blood, I'm told that's rather bad for you after a while. But...
But I doubt you'd have to kill anyone else, while I still live. There's not much else I can really offer in return. I was never allowed to learn real control of my magic.
[A beat.]
Which, ah. Would imply that I accept.
[She can be taught!]

[He smiles, standing up and slowly advancing on her.]
I would have some proof of your loyalty in this matter, then, Shirin?
no subject
[Ah, yes, sass the vampire advancing on you and you basically agreed to let chew on you whenever. Good idea.]

[It is amazing how fast he can clear that room, without it looking like more than an unhurried walk.]

[And yeah, he's leaning in and just biting her. Not like last time, where it was sudden, but rather actually letting his fangs take their time to sink in this time. He also doesn't seem to drink as much before he licks the wound closed.]
no subject
...Now this is just unfair.
no subject
[She wanted him to run his fangs up one of her ears, and then lick the scratch closed, right?]
And if you would like, I will be glad to do it and more nightly. All I ask is that you officially cut ties with the elven court, so that my county does not become a scene of international intrigue or a case of casus belli for your former queen.
no subject
She couldn't. She struck down the old Queen, and while the need to do so was unquestionable, it is still a sin. The Najafi were never her subjects, nor can she ever again directly act against one of us. But I suppose I might as well be official about it. Perhaps even slightly rude.
As for you...Didn't I just say a purely elven diet is bad for you? What power my blood grants will drive you insane unless you temper it with something else. So if you're offering after my pleasure, you're going to have to do so in an arena I can fight back.
[That was an incredibly roundabout way of demanding sex, Shirin.]

[He runs those fangs over her neck, then, without biting or breaking skin, just the reminder of sharpness as he talks.]
Tell me what you want, Shirin.
no subject
[She shivers pretty hard, but she is apparently taking the opportunity to snake a hand down between him and grope at whatever he's hiding in those tight leather pants.]
That's a problem. Because what I want involves you thinking far less clearly through a frankly ridiculous level of lust. Tends to make the sex better that way.
no subject
I see... Well then, my bed is right there.
no subject
[Not that she's helping, any, because she is definitely working on getting her had actually in his pants and, well, she's actually pretty incredibly dexterous, so good luck.]

She is, as one might expect, incredibly hot, and her tattoo comment might make a bit more sense now, since she has a lovely pair of half-sleeves that go across her shoulders in spiralling, intricate designs. Since he can read elven, he may be able to make out it's mostly detailing her place and relation inside the Najafi family.]
