[You know what, this is the kind of mood I'm in.

So let's call it a little bit in the future. Perhaps after Konstantin has gotten to listen to many an argument between certain siblings about how much trouble Shirin would theoretically be in for dhampir babies.

...The protests have changed to a more direct 'shut up', of late, although it's been a slow, subtle process, and may not mean anything at all. Whatever else has happened, this night, after the requisite argument and teasing over the number of inn rooms, a certain prince might actually find a knock at his door.

It is nothing, really. I've lived my life at court; I am used to being discussed as though I were not present or part of the proceedings.

[He says it without any real malice, even.]

It frightens me.

[She takes a breath, and seems to steel herself for this.]

But it appears I've fallen in love.

[He seems to regard her for a long moment, and then lean in and kiss her rather roughly. Almost painfully roughly.]

[Well, she's definitely caught off-guard, but she's more than willing to kiss him back as hard as she can, until she has to come up for air.]

[he's just being a jerk by teasing her through those shorts, with those exceptionally patient hands, while he tries to get her top off. The hand down the pants though, that's getting a hiss, and his fangs popping despite himself.]
